Factories and industrial premises often have more rigorous demands upon the electrical installations, from heavy power demands on cabling from motors and heating equipment, to the risks of damage from impact for example the within a steel works.
ESI: Electrical Safety Inspections Limited can inspect and test premises before you invest in a property, alternately we can carry out a full inspection of your premises to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Guidance Note 3 of BS 7671:2008 requires that electrical installations in commercial premises be inspected and tested on a 3-yearly interval. We are able to provide a full inspection and testing service, issuing NICEIC Periodic Inspection Reports complete with written Electrical Engineers Report and Photographic evidence. ESI: Engineers have experience of inspections on all types of factory and heavy industrial premises.
Due to the nature of these premises, it is necessary to carry out a site visit to provide a costing for these inspections.
