The particular risks associated with exhibitions, shows and stands are those of electric shock and fire due to the temporary nature of the installation, the lack of permanent structures, severe mechanical stresses and access to the general public.

To comply with BS 7671 and insurance requirements, ESI: can provide a full electrical inspection and testing and certification service for these specialist locations, including PAT Testing of exhibitors equipment.
Temporary installations need to be tested and certified to BS 7671:2008 on completion and then every 3 months.
